Welcome to my music blog!

Like many other people I have a great love for music. I enjoy a wide range of music styles and genres and I love to talk about new artists that come to my attention or classic tracks and albums. After spending time talking to a variety of friends and acquaintences about music, many have encouraged me to share some of my thoughts and opinions with the public. If you are looking to find something new to listen to or re-discovering something from the past I hope that you are able to find something of interest here. I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions. Please feel free to politely exspress your own thoughts or provide your own suggestions. I love to learn about music and that is precisely what the this site is for.

At this point, my aim is to post entries once or twice a week. At the beginning of the week the posts will focus on new releases or if there is not much to report in the way of new releases I may burden you with something like an armchair critic entry (i.e. forgotten gems, overrated albums/artists, etc.). The second weekly entry will focus on songs or albums which I consider to be classics - music that I either consider to fall in either the category of 'must haves' or 'highly influencial music.' Granted, I am no musicologist nor do I claim to have somehow managed to secure a superior vantage point from which to judge musical taste or abilities. I simply hope to introduce some people to so new music that they may truly enjoy or perhaps remind others of great music they've placed on the back burner for too long. I'm getting a little long winded here ... let's get to the music!
